| 1Modern
Design – EDUNET
has developed true 32-bit applications written for Windows 95/98/NT®
and the latest Network Operating systems from Microsoft®
and Novell®. Our applications adhere to standards such
as printer independence, multi-tasking, use of the Windows® clipboard,
the exchange of data between programs, and previewing of reports on-screen. |
| 2Complete
Solutions – With integrated applications
available, you can look to EDUNET
for both your financial and student administrative software. One administrative
software supplier eliminates the maintenance of duplicate databases,
streamlines district reporting, and eliminates "finger-pointing"
support. No software solution would be complete without the availability
of networking services, which EDUNET
provides exclusively to its software clients. |
| 3On-going
Support – EDUNET’s
Support Team works closely with clients on a daily basis by telephone,
remote dial-in to your network, and now on the web. Version 5.1 users
have continuous 24-hour web support, accessible from within the EDUNET
software to search the Frequently Asked Questions database, access
e-mail support, and retrieve software updates. |
| 4 Compliance
with Reporting Requirements EDUNET
understands the reporting requirements of school districts. The applications
are regularly updated to contain the latest federal, state and Department
of Education reporting formats. Examples of reports and programs include:
PDE Reports 4062, 2057 and others, the PDE VIS, AFR, W2 and PSERS
electronic submissions, and recently the "Your Schools, Your
Money" program. |
| 5 State-of-the-Art-Capabilities
– EDUNET recognizes and utilizes
suggestions from its client base. With an extensive investment in
knowledge base technology, we were able to track and review all client
suggestions for possible inclusion into the Windows®
version. Version 5.1 includes over 600 suggestions in its design throughout
both the software; applications with the features most desired by
administrators. |
|
|
| 6 Ease
of Use – The software is designed using
a Multiple Document Interface. This allows, for example, a single
point of entry into a student’s or employee’s record and the availability
of any information based upon user EDUNET
Application Rights. In short, it eliminates the need
to exit the database to view or edit particular information. |
| 7Integration
– The EDUNET Windows®
software is integrated with Microsoft Office®. Users
have the power of Microsoft Word® and Excel®
from within their EDUNET
application, complete with user-defined word processing templates.
Version 5.1 also integrates with popular grade book programs, taking
advantage of teacher desktops connected across a network. Integration
continues to exist with the latest optical mark readers and phone
dialing devices. |
| 8Documentation
– As a Windows® product, the software is documents
on-line, complete with context and index searchable databases. Instructions
are task oriented and thorough. They can be used as checklists for
individual staff members. |
| 9 Security
– As an administrator, you are in complete control of all access rights
and functionality between users throughout the software. Application
specific security settings allow an even greater blanket of security,
especially when dealing with student grades, sensitive demographic
data, or payroll. EDUNET Windows®
software gives you the flexibility that is required for today’s wide
area networks. |
